Mr. Briner has worked in law enforcement for more
than 26 years and has spent the last 17 years with the District Attorney's Office. During his tenure with the District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation, Mr. Briner has served in the Sexual Assualt/Family Protection
Unit, the Political Corruption Unit, the Criminal Intelligence/Special Investigations Unit, and has
served in and supervised the Major Crimes Unit
and the Welfare Fraud Unit. In 1999, Mr. Briner
was promoted to Senior District Attorney Investigator. He was appointed Deputy Chief Investigator in 2006, and then to Chief of the Bureau of Investigations in February 2007.
