District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today the conclusion of the District Attorney's review of the circumstances surrounding the July 1, 2006, fatal shooting of Edward Medina by Officer Michael Purdy of the Oxnard Police Department.

 

A 57-page report, authored by Senior Deputy District Attorney John West, explains the District Attorney's conclusion that the shooting was lawfully justified and not a criminal act.
