District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today the conclusion of the District Attorney's review of the circumstances surrounding the November 14, 2006, fatal shooting of Adrian Canley by Senior Deputy Shane Matthews of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

 

A 23-page report, authored by Senior Deputy District Attorney Stacy Ratner, explains the District Attorney's conclusion that the shooting was lawfully justified and not a criminal act.
